Akhundova Irada Mirsaab gizi

Born on 3 September 1959 in Baku.

From 1976 to 1982 she studied at the State Medical University, specializing in “Phthisiatrician-Pulmonologist”. She began her professional career in 1978 as a nurse at Central Clinical Hospital No. 4 named after F. Afandiyev. In 1988 she started working as a doctor at the Research Institute of Lung Diseases, and later served as Head of the Treatment and Rehabilitation Unit and Deputy Director. Since 2022 she has been the Director of the Research Institute of Lung Diseases.
